The long sandy beach of An Ceann Ramhar is one of the hidden gems of Erris in north-western Mayo.
Pass through the picturesque village of Doohoma to reach Doohoma Head (An Ceann Ramhar), where you'll have breathtaking views of Achill Island and the surrounding Mullet Peninsula from the sandy beach. Doohoma Head is also home to a golf course, where you can play nine holes with the same stunning view.
