- Affiliate Partners: None at present — see our Affiliate Disclosure. No link on this site places a referral cookie on your device.
If we transfer your data outside the European Economic Area (EEA), we ensure a similar degree of protection is afforded to it by ensuring at least one of the specific safeguards approved by the European Commission is implemented.
6. The Winsome Ireland Connector for Claude
Winsome Ireland, our connector for Claude (an MCP server at winsomeplanet.com/api/mcp) lets Claude look up our open nature data on your behalf. It works as follows:
- No account, no personal data requested. The connector has no sign-in and none of its tools ask for personal information.
- What it receives: only what Claude sends to a tool, such as a county name, a search word, a place’s name, or the coordinates of a town you asked about. Requests reach us from Anthropic’s servers, not from your device.
- What we keep: we do not store tool inputs or results and do not build profiles from them. Our hosting provider, Amazon Web Services, keeps standard request logs (time, address requested and the calling server’s IP address) to operate and secure the service; our own error logs record the error, not what was asked.
- Who else is involved: Anthropic runs Claude and handles your conversation under its own privacy policy. We share nothing from the connector with anyone else.
- Links: links in the connector’s answers are tagged so we can count visits that came from Claude. If you open one, our website’s cookie choices apply as described above.
