4. Open Data Attribution
The trails, beaches, forests, heritage sites, nature spots, county outlines, Irish place names and weather on this site come from Irish public open data. We gather it, clean it, join datasets by location (“make a day of it”), compute distances and an outdoor rating, and present it in our own words and design — so every page says the data was adapted. The curated records are prepared by the BagIt.ie data pipeline, which we also operate.
