Donegal Garden Trail

The Donegal Garden Trail, which winds its colourful way around the county, offers garden lovers over 20 opportunities to access and enjoy a broad range of public and privately owned gardens.
The gardens range in size from large estates to tiny jewel like cottage gardens. All are tended and boast wide ranging examples of traditional and innovative garden displays, living heritage in fact. Many combine nurture with nature, actively encouraging habitats for native flora and fauna with emphasis on sustainability and biodiversity.
Many garden owners proudly collect donations for charity. The Donegal Garden Trail offers geographically grouped gardens so that the visitor can also take in Donegal’s scenery and pristine environment.
